Alison moved to Dubai in 2007 to work as the Director of Nursing & Midwifery at Latifa Hospital (formerly Al Wasl), where she was responsible for reforming the provision of midwifery care.
In 2012 she became a partner in SMART Fitness, taking a lead role in the commissioning of its first facility in JLT. The gym has gone on to achieve many accolades and is regarded as an industry leader in the UAE. In 2017 Alison developed the MamaBFit service; combining both her passions for pregnancy care and women’s health and fitness.

Michelle's passion for pre and postnatal fitness started when she was just four weeks pregnant with her second child and about to dive into a 8 week transformation program with us....Until her pregnancy test came back positive. She has experienced the amazing benefits of our unique prenatal program and felt this program needed to be known to all mamas-to-be! This is where the story begins; Michelle went on to help launch the very successful MamaBFit Postnatal program creating a unique fitness experience for new mothers by offering a nanny service whilst they work-out and then went on to launch Active Mums.
